Nella represents clients successfully at all levels of Court including Motions, trials and appeals. Nella Is highly regarded in representing clients in high profile and hotly contested, complex family law disputes involving custody, divorce, child and spousal support cases; estate litigation or other contentions cases.

Macchia law has been offering clients a customized approach to resolving legal issues in a wide range of practice areas since 1992. We focus on client matters that empower our clients to resolve issues in a cost effective manner. We are relentless and fearless in achieving their goals through all legal channels at our disposal.

Nella Macchia is fluent in Italian and is a mentor to many young aspiring lawyers.

After graduating from Osgoode Hall in 1985 and receiving her LL.B., Nella was called to the Ontario Bar and has been practicing in a wide range of civil, family, estate areas since 1987.

Aida has an extensive background in real estate law as she was previously a Real Estate Conveyancer. As a Senior Law Clerk, Aida is  involved in all aspects of the real estate transaction files, from drafting, receiving and reviewing the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, sub-search of title, writ searches, on and off tile searches, conducting 40 year searches, drafting the appropriate closing documents, Affidavits, attending to the registration and closing of the transactions.  She has extensive knowledge of real estate practice and procedures.

Aida is also knowledgeable with the family law proceedings and assists in all aspects of divorce proceedings, including uncontested divorces, Financial Statements, Case Conference Briefs and Settlement Conference Briefs, as well as Applications, Motions and Affidavits.

Aida Costa joined Nella Macchia in 2002.  She studied Legal Administration at Ryerson University and also achieved her Law Clerk Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.  Most recently, she received certification through the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.

Aida is fluent in Portuguese and very comfortable communicating both orally and in writing.

Jessica Iannuzziello

Jessica is a recent Honours Bachelor of Paralegal Studies Degree graduate who has extensive knowledge and understanding of the paralegal scope of practice and the Canadian legal system. She was on the Dean’s Honour List for three consecutive semesters during her time studying at Humber College, graduating at the top of her class in 2020. She is highly educated in Small Claims Court practice, Provincial Offences, Highway Traffic Act infractions, Residential Landlord & Tenant Law, Immigration & Refugee Law, SABS and WSIB claims, and Criminal Summary Convictions. Jessica has experience and substantial knowledge in navigating the court process as well as tribunals, drafting and filing all court documents and pleadings, legal researching and writing, and legal/financial accounting. She also has seven years of office administrative experience. Jessica joined Macchia Law in May 2019 to complete a 420-hour internship for her LSO Paralegal Licensing requirements and has flourished as a Legal Assistant here at Macchia Law.

Macchia Law now provides a wide range of legal services including personal injury, family law, estate litigation, and real estate legal services.
